A weekend set apart for men to step away from the noise, open God’s Word together, and grow in brotherhood. Sons are welcome to join, but must be accompanied by their fathers.

    Directions to Ironwood


    We are in the Mojave Desert north of Barstow, about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas on I-15. I-15 is the quickest route for all campers except those coming through Arizona.


    From I-15 Northbound


    Take Harvard Road exit (#206), 23 miles north of Barstow, and turn right.


    Cross the frontage road and railroad tracks, continue south about ½ mile.


    Turn left (east) onto Cherokee Road at the telephone poles. This is a dirt road.


    From I-15 Southbound


    Take Harvard Road exit (#206), 39 miles south of Baker, and turn left.


    Cross the frontage road and railroad tracks, continue south about ½ mile.


    Turn left (east) onto Cherokee Road at the telephone poles. This is a dirt road.


    From I-40 Westbound


    Take the first Newberry Springs exit (#23) and turn left (south) to the stop sign.


    Turn right (west) on National Trails Highway and go 3 miles to Newberry Road.


    Turn right (north) and go 6 miles to Riverside Road.


    Turn right (east) and go 1 mile to Harvard Road.


    Turn left (north) and go 3 miles to Cherokee Road at the telephone poles.


    Turn right (east) onto the dirt road.

    After turning onto Cherokee Road, continue 3½ miles due east. The road jogs slightly.


    The Way Station registration office is the large building on the right after you come down the hill and pass the welcome sign.

  • Important Travel Note

    Before following smartphone directions, verify your route goes I-15 to Harvard Road. The desert can be tricky. Taking the wrong turn may lead you into sand. Only follow the route below if you like getting stuck in a dune 🙂
