In the month of October our beloved beauty teacher was called to be with the Lord. She got terminal cancer, she was a mother, teacher, and mentor to our students. Due to this, we have a new beauty teacher who has stepped into the teaching position for the remainder of the school year.
Unfortunately, in November, two more of our beauty students decided to leave the program. Our youngest student decided to return to her village in the north of Thailand, and the other
decided to pursue work in the city. We know that during their few months at Shearlove, seeds were planted, and that in God’s timing, they will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
ApproachingIn December Shearlove received a donation for the staff to have a retreat. The staff and I got to visit a national forest and have a time of rest and prayer. We got to pray for one another and share goals and visions for 2025. Truly it was a blessing to be immersed in God's creation and know that HE carries us through it all.
The Beauty Program continues to have 3 beauty students and 3 barber students. The students have begun to serve those in the community, during the day they continue to learn English, finances, and Bible. In the afternoons they have haircuts for those in different communities. Our graduation date will be March 27th, 2025. And I am so eager to share the graduating class and staff of 2024-2025.
Earlier this month we hosted a team from Crossroads Church from Corona California. This team loved every staff, and student at Shearlove. They truly came with joy and it felt special knowing they came from SoCal, we joined in prayer not only for the city of Pattaya, but for those back home too!
For our students to finish well as the school year comes to an end. That they would continue to trust the Lord for work and they wouldcontinue to trust that he is good and will care for them in everyseason of life.
We will be hosting another team in February: Please pray forrenewed strength - for us and the team as they will be arrivingfrom Northern California to serve with us at Shearlove and in thecity of Pattaya.
I will be returning home on April 17th. I desire to continue foranother year in Thailand with Shearlove. Please continue to prayfor peace, provision, and Shearlove as we continue to serve thestudents and the people of Thailand.
In November, I had to go to the hospital due to a small footfracture. After a night of ministry, I fell while walking and I wasable to see a doctor without worrying about expenses. That is thanks to you all who partnered with me. Truly I have had everyneed met and can walk just fine after some rest. Thank you for yourprayers! I can’t wait to share more in the months to come!
